A1 LIST

Judges who have previously been approved by The Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in the breed and have completed their first appointment.  To have the support of The Italian Spinone Club of Great Britain.

A2 LIST

Judges who are recommended by The Italian Spinone Club of Great Britain and who, if invited to judge by a Society, would in principle be approved by The Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in the breed for that occasion; provided that they fulfil all the requirements for the A3 list and have been assessed in accordance with KC requirements and accepted by The Kennel Club for inclusion on the A2 List of The ISCGB.

To attend an Open Field Trial or an Open Gundog Test (GWT) for an HPR Gundog Breed. (KC Policy as of 01.01.2011)

 

A3 LIST (BREED SPECIALISTS)

Judges who are recommended by The Italian Spinone Club of Great Britain as being suitable to award Challenge Certificates in the breed, but are not yet approved by The Kennel Club for inclusion on the A2 List.

 

GUIDELINES

Applicants should have:

A minimum of 7 years judging experience in the breed and have the support of The ISCGB.  (KC Policy)

Judged the breed at a breed club show or a Championship show without CC’s. 

Judged a minimum of 110 spinoni (hands on) with an adequate geographical spread.

To have attended at least one ISCGB approved breed specific Judging Seminar run in accordance with the KC Code of Best Practice andpassed an examination.  (KC Policy as of 1.7.2001)

To have attended a seminar given by a KC Accredited Trainer, and passed the relevant examination on Kennel Club Regulations and judging procedures.  (KC Policy as of 1.7.2001)

To have attended a seminar given by a KC Accredited Trainer on Conformation and Movement. (KC Policy as of 1.7.2001)

To have attended a Conformation & Movement “Hands-on Assessment” conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the assessment.

Bred and/or owned a minimum of 3 Spinoni when they obtained their first entry in The Kennel Club Stud Book and have the support of The ISCGB.  Save in exceptional circumstances. (KC Policy)

To have stewarded at 12 shows.  (KC Policy) 

To attend an Open Field Trial or an Open Gundog Test (GWT) for an HPR Gundog Breed. (KC Policy as of 01.01.2011)

 

A3 LIST (NON SPECIALISTS)

Judges who are recommended by The Italian Spinone Club of Great Britain as being suitable to award Challenge Certificates in the breed, but are not yet approved by The Kennel Club for inclusion on the A2 List.

 

GUIDELINES

Applicants should have:

A minimum of 10 years judging experience in any one breed (to include 7 years in Spinoni) and have the support of The ISCGB.  (KC Policy)

Judged the breed at a breed club show or a Championship show without CC’s. 

Judged a minimum of 110 spinoni (hands on) with an adequate geographical spread.

To have awarded CC’s in at least one other breed.  (KC Policy)

To have attended at least one ISCGB approved breed specific Judging Seminar run in accordance with the KC Code of Best Practice and passed an examination.

To attend an Open Field Trial or an Open Gundog Test (GWT) for an HPR Gundog Breed. (KC Policy as of 01.01.2011)

 

B LIST (BREED SPECIALISTS)

Judges who have been approved by The Italian Spinone Club of Great Britain to judge at Championship Shows without CC’s or Open Shows.

 

GUIDELINES

Applicants should have:

A minimum of 5 years experience owning or exhibiting Spinoni and have the support of The ISCGB.

Judged a minimum of 22 spinoni (hands on) with an adequate geographical spread.

To have attended at least one ISCGB approved breed specific Judging Seminar run in accordance with the KC Code of Best Practice and completed 5 mentor guided assessments with 5 different CC judges.

 

B LIST (ITALIAN BREED SPECIALISTS)

Judges from Italy who have been approved by The Italian Spinone Club of Great Britain to judge at Championship Shows without CC’s or Open Shows.

 

GUIDELINES

Applicants should have:

Owned Spinoni for at least 10 years

Owned or bred an Italian Champion

 

B LIST (NON SPECIALISTS)

Judges who have been approved by The Italian Spinone Club of Great Britain to judge at Championship Shows without CC’s or Open Shows.

 

GUIDELINES

Applicants should have:

A minimum of 7 years judging experience in any Gundog breed and have the support of The ISCGB.

Judged a minimum of 50 spinoni (hands on) with an adequate geographical spread.

To have attended at least one ISCGB approved breed specific Judging Seminar run in accordance with the KC Code of Best Practice and completed 5 mentor guided assessments with 5 different CC judges.

 

C LIST (BREED)

For Aspirant judges who have shown an interest in the breed and have the support of The ISCGB.

 

C LIST (NON-BREED)

For Aspirant judges who have shown an active interest in the breed or attended an ISCGB approved breed seminar and have the support of The ISCGB.
